Forthcoming Social Forums and meetings:
European Social Forum 2006
The next European Social Forum will be hosted by Greece in Athens in Spring 2006.
Preparation for the ESF 2006 is organised at a European and local level. The next European meeting to organise the 2006 ESF in Athens (European Preparatory Assembly) will be held in Prague on 21-22 May. All social movement organisations and networks which support the World Social Forum Charter of Principles are encouraged to attend. Practical details are to be confirmed.

Mediterranean Social Forum 2006
A Mediterranean Social Forum will take place in Barcelona on June 16th-19th 2005.
World Social Forum
The World Social Forum 2005 took place this January 26 - 31 in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
The next World Social Forum (WSF) in 2006 will take place in venues across the world. For reports of the WSF 2005 and further information about the WSF 2006 please see www.forumsocialmundial.org.br.
Minutes of ESF 2004 preparatory meetings:
The ESF 2004 was organised at a European level by the European Preparatory Assembly and in the UK by the UK ESF Organising Committee. The Preparatory meetings of UK ESF Organising Committee and its sub groups were open to all organisations, networks and individuals who supported the WSF Charter of Principles.
Decisions at UK meetings are made by consensus reached by affiliates to the UK Organising Committee. Please see the 'Contacts' page for details of UK ESF Affiliate organisations.
